The Red Caboose Winery produces award-winning Texas wines from estate-grown grapes grown on location in Meridian, Texas. Enjoy an extensive tasting room, unique musical events, and a beautiful property available for weddings and other private occasions. Take a breath of fresh air in the hills of Bosque County, accompanied with some locally-made red or white wine.
The name comes from the red caboose Gary McKibben purchased and brought to the property. The McKibben family has been growing sustainable wines the natural way since 2003. Today, the winery hosts a slew of events, from live music, the popular Cork and Fork series in each summer month, and even the fun-and-messy-for-all Grape Stomp.
The winery proudly produces big red wines like Tempranillo, Syrah, Tannat, Touriga Nacional, Zinfandel, and Black Spanish, also known as Lenoir. The wines continue to win awards and medals in statewide, national, and international competitions. Read more about it here.

The RC Distillery is located in Clifton, Texas, about 20 minutes from the vineyard. For tastings, meat and cheese platters, and music artists featured multiple times a month, the Distillery is a high-class gathering place for Bosque residents and weekenders.
Following in the footsteps of the wine-making principles, all spirits are distilled in “Old World” style copper pot stills. The distillery offers vodka, gin, brandy, and unique flavor infusions on each. They are exceptionally smooth, and always distilled in small batches from grapes grown organically in Meridian, Texas. Infusions like Jalepeno, Cilantro and more straight from the garden hold incredible flavor.
